CMW MOTORCYCLES (SOUTHERN) LTD
CMW Motorcycles is a principal dealer for Royal Enfield, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Vespa and Piaggio and we have been serving Chichester, Hampshire, West Sussex and the South Coast for over 70 years.
CMW prides itself on offering the best in customer service with a dedicated team of experienced and passionate staff always on hand to offer opinion, advice and knowledge whether you are a motorsport enthusiast or new to biking.
CMW Motorcycles was founded in 1947 by Alan Morgan. The firm rode the crest of the British biking boom in the fifties and sixties, keeping motorcycle enthusiasts supplied with the best that motorcycling had to offer.
CMW was purchased by the new oweners in 2018 and has continued to grow complimented by the expanding range of royal enfield and piaggio brands.
Times have most certainly changed but our values have remained the same with CMW still being a much loved, family run, independent business.
TRAINING
At CMW we appreciate that everyday is a school day. But before you can get on the road, as a new rider you need to undertake Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). We are proud to support a local training organisation – Chichester Motorcycle Training, where Neil and his team will look after all your training needs from CBT to passing either your A1, A2 or Full A motorcycle DVSA tests. At 16 to get on the road – you will need a Provisional Licence, take Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), Display L plates, Require minimum Third Party Insurance.
